About me

I received my PhD from NYU Carrasco Lab, working on the projects investigating the interaction between visual attention and adaptation. I will be joing Curtis lab as a postdoctoral reseacher starting from 2026 Fall!

My primary research interests are visual attention, consciousness, and cognitive control.

To be specific, I ask questions like:
How does visual attention interact with perception?
How do the conscious and unconscious mental processes work?
How do people control and inhibit irrelevant information?

In addition, I also study how different populations interact with technology and how can we improve the user experience by applying my skills in human factors.

Before joining NYU, I worked with Dr. Su-Ling Yeh at National Taiwan University and Dr. Shulan Hsieh at National Cheng Kung University.

Apart from research, I live on Boba and animals. I say Hi to all the dogs on the street, but my favorite is still my dog Coffee.
